The Genealogy section on our website has now been updated. If you are interested in MacLeod Genealogy, researching your Family History, or tracing your ancestors through DNA, check out the new content under https://clanmacleod.org/genealogy/.
We’ve also incorporated the old Clan MacLeod Genealogy database into the clanmacleod.org website. Amongst thousands of records, this database includes complete transcriptions (with original source material) from all five volumes of The MacLeods – The Genealogy of a Clan

In addition there’s an extensively revised Publications and Research section and many new Links and Resources.
Brand new features include Castles and Fortifications associated with the MacLeods, a snapshot of 18 historic fortifications in the Islands and Highlands linked to the Clan MacLeod over the centuries.
More content will be added to the Clan MacLeod Genealogy section as time allows. Check back for additions and new sections in the near future.
